Funded by Islamic Relief UK, the Muslim Women in Prison Project provides culturally and faith-sensitive support to help Muslim women reintegrate into society after prison. Through our safe and non-judgmental community hub at the Khidmat Centres, we empower women to rebuild their lives free from stigma, shame, and isolation by offering practical support with benefits, housing, education, training, volunteering, and employment. We also help restore family, community, and faith-based connections while addressing sensitive issues such as domestic and sexual violence, mental health, self-harm, and depression. Alongside direct support, we run awareness programs to challenge stigma, promote understanding, and improve services, ensuring better long-term support for Muslim women in the criminal justice system.
