At Khidmat Centres, we are committed to supporting our community's most vulnerable members. In partnership with Northern Gas Networks (NGN), we have launched the Centre for Warmth - Nourish & Thrive initiative to tackle key issues such as fuel poverty, energy efficiency, and carbon monoxide safety. This project is designed to provide practical support and education, helping individuals and families make informed choices about their energy use while improving overall well-being.
Through this initiative, we offer energy efficiency advice, carbon monoxide awareness sessions, benefits and debt management guidance, and culturally appropriate family support services. Our Elderly and Family Support Workers engage with the community to deliver hands-on assistance, ensuring that no one is left behind. With dedicated outreach efforts, well-being programs, and educational workshops, we aim to create lasting positive change, helping people stay warm, safe, and financially secure.
Together, we are building a stronger, more resilient community, where access to essential support is not just a privilege but a right for all.
